DonuTech was founded in 2133 by two scientists specialized in complementary aspects of providing and analyzing ecological impact data. Both men were eminent researchers but found their profession ambitions and intellectual horizons frustrated by the rigid organizational systems of the companies they worked for. They wanted to find a structure that would allow them to produce the comprehensive synergies between their own work and that of other researchers that they thought could be achieved.

The answer to their quest was DonuTech. From the very beginning, it nurtured the synergies they were striving for. By the end of 2134, these were reflected in their vital contributions to the success of many projects of global scope, with perhaps the best-known being the Mediterranean Bridge and its immense impact on rehabilitating the local ecosystem.

Within a few months the founding partners were joined by other researchers, all eager to trade their limited, compartmentalized working conditions for the road to excellence that DonuTech opened before them. In all, DonuTech now boasts nine research scientists, including the original founders, and the support and administrative staff they need for optimum functioning.
